I am Mohawk from Six Nations in Ontario, I now live in Treaty 7 territory home of the Blackfoot Confederacy. My teachers were my great grandmother, my grandparents and my uncles. Our family had a guiding business, and we lived off the land. I learned how to work with porcupine quills and do raised beadwork at a young age, it was just recently I decided to do my artwork on a full-time basis. My work represents my Indigenous heritage because I am continuing the artwork of my ancestors before me.
