My name is Stacey Rogers and I’m a member of Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation from Valleyview Alberta. I am a self taught artist and have always drawn since I was a child with pencil being my favourite medium. I discovered in 2010 that I could do pencil portraits and have drawn many pet/people and celebrity style portraits upon request and for my own pleasure.

I love details and get lost in the process of drawing and creating. It’s my medicine and meditation. I come from a highly artistic and creative family, everyone can either sing or dance or bead or create we just are a very creative family and that’s where I learned to let my own skills shine.
